Empowering military children through educational support and service opportunities
Students For Military Children

ABOUT US
Students For Military Children (SFMC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers military children (the sons and daughters of active-duty personnel, veterans, and Gold Star families) through educational support and service opportunities.
In addition to hosting local events such as charity auctions, drives, and leadershipworkshops that uplift military children, SFMC offers free academic tutoring, community project grants, and our flagship Bridges of Honor Scholarship to help all K-12 students of military backgrounds thrive in the classroom and contribute to society.
Thanks to everyone for supporting Students For Military Children!

Education is at the heart of the SFMC mission. For this reason, our organization is proud to offer free subject-based and SAT/ACT tutoring for all K-12 military children who register!
Students must register for sessions 48 hours in advance through our online calendar links. All tutoring is first come, first serve, so register early and come prepared!
A love for service is what inspired our creators to establish SFMC. Because of that, a central goal of our nonprofit is to ensure all military children have access to service opportunities to better their own community.
With grants, we fund service projects initiated by military children. SP Grant proposals are evaluated on ongoing basis: apply anytime!
